1. RF-10 PCB Introduction
Taconic RF-10 2-layer rigid PCB is fabricated using RF-10 copper clad laminates, a composite material consisting of ceramic-filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and woven fiberglass. RF-10 PCB inherits the core advantages of RF-10 laminates, including high dielectric constant and low dissipation factor. The integration of thin woven fiberglass reinforcement not only ensures low dielectric loss but also enhances the board's rigidity for easier handling and improved dimensional stability, making it well-suited for RF-related multilayer circuit applications. Engineered as a cost-effective substrate solution, RF-10 PCB meets industry-acceptable delivery time requirements and addresses the critical need for size reduction in RF applications. Taconic RF-10 PCB exhibits excellent bonding performance with smooth low-profile copper; when paired with such copper, the low dissipation characteristic of RF-10 substrate results in optimal insertion loss at higher frequencies, where skin effect losses play a significant role.
