Taconic CER-10 is a professional high-Dk organic-ceramic copper clad laminate belonging to Taconic premium ORCER material family, specially engineered for high-frequency microwave PCB manufacturing. Built with high-quality woven glass reinforcement, this advanced CCL integrates Taconic’s mature ceramic fill technology and proprietary coated PTFE fiberglass manufacturing expertise, creating a high-performance dielectric material that balances stable electrical performance and robust mechanical strength.
One of the most prominent advantages of CER-10 laminate is its exceptional interlaminar bond strength and superior solder resistance. The exclusive proprietary material composition effectively reduces moisture absorption and delivers uniform, consistent electrical properties throughout diverse working conditions, avoiding parameter drift that commonly occurs on ordinary high-frequency substrates. Equipped with reliable woven glass reinforcement, CER-10 dielectric material achieves excellent dimensional stability and enhanced flexural strength, greatly resisting structural deformation during PCB fabrication and long-term service.
Featuring a low Z-axis thermal expansion coefficient of 46 ppm/°C, this DK-10 laminate maintains outstanding plated-through-hole reliability even under extreme thermal environments and frequent temperature cycling. Different from complex high-frequency substrates, CER-10 copper clad laminates fully support standard PTFE and woven fiberglass processing techniques, allowing conventional shearing, drilling, milling and plating operations for efficient and cost-effective PCB production. CER-10 laminates are commonly double-sided clad with 1/2oz, 1oz or 2oz electrodeposited copper to meet diverse circuit design and conductivity requirements.
