We are excited to introduce our latest breakthrough in PCB technology – PET transparent flexible PCBs with 3M sticker integration. These flexible PCBs combine the benefits of transparency, flexibility, and the convenience of a 3M adhesive backing, offering exceptional transparency, chemical resistance, and electrical properties, paving the way for innovative designs and versatile applications.

FCCL Introduction
The Single Sided Adhesive Transparent Flexible Copper Clad Laminate, known as SF490-500515SET, lies at the core of these PCBs. It boasts impressive specifications, including a visible light transmittance of 90.2%, a volume resistivity of 1.5×10^8 MΩ-cm, and a surface resistance of 4.1×10^5 MΩ. With a peel strength of 0.32 N/mm and an operating environment ranging from -40℃ to +85℃, these PCBs ensure reliable performance even in demanding conditions.

FCCL Features

FPC stackup
The construction of Transparent Flexible PCBs is designed as a 1-layer flexible PCB with specific stackup details. Copper Layer 1 has a thickness of 18 μm, while the Polyester Core SF490 measures 0.05 mm. This construction provides the necessary flexibility and dimensional stability crucial for advanced applications.

FPC Construction Details
When it comes to construction details, Transparent Flexible PCBs offer precise specifications. The board dimensions are 61mm x 41mm for a single piece, with a tolerance of +/- 0.15mm. The minimum trace/space is set at 5/6 mils, accommodating intricate circuitry and compact designs. With a minimum hole size of 2.0mm and no blind vias, the manufacturing process is simplified, facilitating efficient production. The finished board thickness measures 0.13mm, ensuring a thin and flexible form factor. A surface finish of immersion gold enhances solderability and corrosion resistance. The top layer features white silkscreen, while the bottom layer does not have any silkscreen. Both the top and bottom layers are protected by coverlay solder masks. Additionally, a 3M tape sticker is included for secure mounting. Each PCB undergoes a rigorous 100% electrical test before shipment, guaranteeing its functionality.

FPC Statistics
Transparent Flexible PCBs provide impressive statistics in terms of components and connection points. With 5 components and 9 total pads, these PCBs offer the opportunity for complex circuit designs and functionality. There are no thru-hole pads, indicating the use of surface mount technology for component placement. All 9 top pads are available for surface mount components, while there are no bottom SMT pads. The absence of vias simplifies the design, ensuring a streamlined and efficient PCB layout. The interconnected network of circuitry is represented by a single net.
