1. Introduction of SMT Stencil
An SMT stencil, also known as a solder paste stencil or solder mask stencil, is a crucial tool used in the assembly of electronic circuit boards. It plays a significant role in the precise application of solder paste onto the PCB pads before surface mount components are placed.

The SMT stencil is typically made of a thin sheet of stainless steel, which has precision laser-cut apertures corresponding to the locations of component pads on the PCB. The apertures are designed to match the size and shape of the pads, allowing the solder paste to be accurately deposited only on those areas.

2. Features SMT stencil in our house, framed or frameless are 100% laser cut. The thickness of stainless steel foil ranges from 0.05mm to 0.4mm, with size 300mm x 300mm to 736mm x 736mm. They are fabricated per IPC 7525A using supplied Gerber data, squeegee area locating in the center.Fiducial marks are half carved on the back side to suit for the SMT machine. It’s packed with KK carton (hard card) and usually 2 stencils are packed for shipment.

3. Aluminum Frame Size The selection of aluminum frame size is related to the customer's printing machine. For fully automatic printing machines, the options are 736×736mm, 584×584mm, 550mm×650mm, and 550mm×600mm. For semi-automatic printing machines, the options are 370mm×470mm and 420mm×520mm.

4. Thickness of stainless steel foil: 0.05mm, 0.06mm, 0.08mm, 0.1mm, 0.12mm, 0.15mm, 0.18mm, 0.2mm, 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.4mm
