AD255C High Frequency PCB Built on 30mil 0.762mm Substrates

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our latest shipment of AD255C RF PCB.

PCB Substrates Introduction
Rogers AD255C Woven Glass Reinforced PTFE Antenna Grade Laminates offer exceptional performance for antenna applications. With a dielectric constant of 2.55 and tight tolerance at 10 GHz/23°C, these laminates ensure reliable signal transmission. They boast a low loss tangent of 0.0013 at 10 GHz, making them suitable for base station frequencies. Additionally, these laminates exhibit excellent thermal stability, with a decomposition temperature exceeding 500°C, and a moisture absorption rate of just 0.03%. The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) is 34 ppm/°C in the X-axis, 26 ppm/°C in the Y-axis, and 196 ppm/°C in the Z-axis.

Features
The PCB substrates feature a very low loss PTFE and ceramic filled composite, resulting in lower insertion loss and improved signal integrity. The use of low profile copper and excellent thermal coefficient of expansion (TCEr) ensures phase stability. Moreover, they are compatible with standard PTFE-based PCB substrate processing methods.

PCB Stackup: 2-layer rigid PCB
The stackup consists of a 35 μm copper layer on both sides, with a 0.762 mm (30mil) Rogers AD255C laminate in between.

PCB Construction details
The board dimensions are 175.42mm x 143.84mm and have a tolerance of +/- 0.15mm. The minimum trace/space is 5/5 mils, and the minimum hole size is 0.3mm. The finished board thickness is 0.8mm, with 1oz (1.4 mils) outer layer copper weight. The via plating thickness is 20 μm, and the surface finish is Immersion Tin. The top silkscreen is white, while the bottom has no silkscreen. The top solder mask is green, and the bottom has no solder mask. Each board undergoes a 100% electrical test before shipment.

PCB Statistics
The PCB consists of 26 components, with a total of 82 pads, including 29 thru-hole pads and 53 top surface mount technology (SMT) pads. There are no bottom SMT pads, and a total of 54 vias are present, connecting the nets comprising 4 different connections.

Artwork and Standards
The artwork is supplied in Gerber RS-274-X format, adhering to the IPC-Class-2 standard.
