Cer-10 Double Sided Taconic RF PCB Built on 30mil 0.762mm Laminates with HASL

The PCB material used is Taconic Cer-10, which is an organic-ceramic PTFE composite. It offers exceptional performance with a process DK of 10 at 10 GHz/23°C and a low dissipation factor of 0.0035 at the same frequency and temperature. This RF PCB operates reliably within a temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.

The stackup configuration consists of a 2-layer rigid PCB with copper layers of 35 μm thickness. The substrate, Cer-10, has a thickness of 0.762 mm (30mil). This stackup provides excellent signal integrity and durability.

In terms of construction details, the board dimensions are precisely measured at 75.58mm x 67.67 mm, ensuring accuracy within +/- 0.15mm. The minimum trace/space is 4/6 mils, allowing for high-density designs. The minimum hole size is 0.5mm, accommodating various component requirements. This PCB does not include blind vias.

With a finished board thickness of 0.88mm and a 1oz (1.4 mils) outer layer copper weight, this RF PCB strikes a balance between thickness and robustness. The via plating thickness of 20 μm ensures reliable connections throughout the board. The surface finish is achieved with HASL lead-free coating, ensuring environmental compliance.

For ease of identification, the top and bottom silkscreen are not included. However, the top solder mask is in a vibrant green color, while the bottom solder mask is absent. To ensure quality, each PCB undergoes a 100% electrical test before shipment.

In terms of statistics, this RF PCB supports 27 components and offers a total of 64 pads, including 39 thru-hole pads and 25 top SMT pads. The board features 51 vias and 3 nets, enabling efficient signal routing.

The artwork for this PCB is supplied in the industry-standard Gerber RS-274-X format. It adheres to the widely accepted IPC-Class-2 standard, ensuring reliability and performance.
