1. RT/duroid 5870 Introduction
Rogers RT/duroid 5870 high frequency laminates are PTFE composites reinforced with glass microfibers. They offer high frequency with low dielectric constant (Dk). The randomly oriented microfibers in the PTFE composites result in exceptional Dk uniformity. With its low Dk loss, RT/duroid 5870 laminates are well suited for high frequency/broadband applications where dispersion and losses need to be minimized.

- Dissipation factor of 0.0012 at 10GHz
- Temperature coefficient of dielectric constant (TCDk) of -115 ppm/°C
- Low Moisture Absorption 0.02%
- CTE in X-axis of 22 ppm/°C, Y-axis of 28 ppm/°C and Z-axix of 173 ppm/°C
- Isotropic
